The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret sect.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a fearsome adversary" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an unique katana together with several items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
